I’m Rob Findlay. I began my journey with counselling & psychotherapy having already lived a few other lifetimes as a Professional Musician, an IT Consultant and Yoga Teacher of many years.

 My practice has evolved over many years of training, personal therapy and life experience.

I understand that everyone’s journey is unique and that challenges or difficulties may arise at any stage. I provide a safe and supportive space to explore and work through issues with my clients, working collaboratively throughout the process.

I offer a balance of practical and ‘talk based’ counselling approaches, helping clients to regulate their nervous systems as a basis for understanding challenging thoughts, feelings and sensations as a starting point for making positive change.

I am highly experienced in a range of therapeutic approaches, including mindfulness, ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) and attachment based theory to work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, loss of joy and meaning, and addictions.

I worked for many years directly in the addictions sector and have extensive experience in private practice working with a wide range of client demographics and concerns, including couples and relationships.
